Day 1Placencia

Leave our base on the Placencia Peninsula for your first day of vacation in Belize. Placencia has established itself as a popular tourist peninsula with its nearby mountains, ancient Mayan ruins, the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary for jaguars, and lush rain forests

Day 2Wippari Cay

Head to Wippari Cay (or Whipray), a short distance from Placencia and known as a “paradise surrounded by fish.” In the key, you’ll find the Whipray Caye Fishing Lodge, known for its colorful coral reefs, fly fishing in saltwater, and snorkeling.

Day 3South Water Cay

Not far away is South Water Cay, with its palm fringed beaches. On the island are the Pelican Beach and Blue Marlin resorts, you can have dinner and enjoy a cocktail where the east coast will give you spectacular views of the sunset.

Day 4Coco Plum

Located in the Coco Plum chain, Thatch Caye is an ecological complex that is part of a marine park. Relax on the white sand as the spider monkeys scurry through the undergrowth. Dinner at Coco Plum Island Resort, where you can also snorkel among the reefs, kayak through the mangroves, explore underwater caves and discover more of the barrier reef.

Day 5 Lagoon Cay

Lagoon Cay is a great stop for kayaking or diving along the coast with its lush vegetation, coastline and internal lagoon.

Day 6Hatchet Caye

Hatchet Caye It is a small remote key, one of our most popular destinations in Belize, it will be within walking distance of Gladden Split Marine Reserve and Silk Cayes, so take advantage of the location and enjoy world class diving and fishing.

Day 7Ranguana Cay

This low island has a really deserted feel. Sail to Lark Cay, which features a natural pool and private sandy beaches for strolling and sunbathing.

Maritime Conditions

General conditions 

The climate is humid tropical. This is the monsoon climate and the trade winds on the coast, with an average of between 25 and 28 ºC, but where maximums of 40 ºC and minimums of 20 ºC can be reached. It is a rainy country. The rainy season runs from May to November. The average rainfall is very high, ranging from 4,000 mm in the mountains and the south to 2,000 mm in the northwest.
