Martinica
Located between Dominica and Santa Lucía, Martinica is in the core of the Caribbean archipelago and is a part of the group of Lesser Antilles. The Surface is full of contrasts, with Montaña Pelada to the north and smooth Mornes to the south. Martinica enjoys a tropical weather all year long.
Enjoy the beautiful town of Martinique before boarding the boat in the port “Le Marin” by the evening.
Begin a short sailing in the morning towards the small island of “Petite Anse D´Arlet” near Diamond Rock. You can have a lunch here and enjoy an incredible evening at the beach.
For the day, tour around the coast and get to know “Cap Salomon” and cross to the bay “Fort de France”. You can tour around the enchanting streets of the town. Sail towards Anse Mitan by the evening where you will land and spend the night.
After having breakfast, begin your sailing towards “Rodney Bay” in St. Lucia. We recommend visiting “Reduit Beach”. By night, go on a shorth sailing to spend the night in “Marigot Bay”.
You will begin another day in St Lucia island. We recommend visiting “anse Cochon” and “Les Deux Pitons” where you can practice several water sports such as snorkel and kayak.
Keep on going around St. Lucia, tour around Pigeon Island to explore the botanic park of the island. You will come back to “Rodney Bay” by night where you will stay the night.
Tour around the traditional town of St Anne in the morning, then retake your sailing back towards Martinique port.

General conditions
The best sailing is in the deep waters of the Inner Channel and Victoria Channel. Trade winds are usually fairly consistent out of a north easterly direction of 15 – 20 knots (17 – 23 mph). Winds over the winter (Christmas winds) tend to be stronger and can reach 30 knots (34 mph) for a few days in succession. The winds gradually move easterly through February, moving to southeast by June and decreasing to 10 – 15 knots (11 – 17 mph). September & October are the calmest period although this region generally gets good sailing wind all year around.

Tidal range is minimal, being about 18 inches (45 cm) maximum and waves rarely exceed 3 – 5 feet (1 to 1.5 meters).
