Whitsunday islands are part of a group of around 70 islands bordering the “great coral barrier”. They are in the core of the national park and they are known to be a delightful destination.

Itinerary 1
7 days

Day 1Hook Island

Begin the journey towards the north side of Hook Island. The island owns countless bays such as “Butterfly”, “Maureen’s Cove”, “Luncheon Bay” and “Manta Ray Bay” famous to have a very good diving. It is the perfect place to know the “Great coral barrier”. You can also visit Nara Inlet, a place plenty of history told by prehistoric rock art.

Day 2Cid Harbour

Sail towards Cid Harbour in the second day, located to the western side of Whitsunday. This island a great attraction thanks to the wild life, you can find wallabies right there! If you are looking for enjoying the beach, “Sawmill Beach” is surrounded by reefs to go snorkeling and diving.

Day 3Hamilton Island

This is the main tourist destination of the Great Coral Barrier. Perfectly located at the edge of the great coral barrier, among 74 islands of Whitsunday in Queensland, Hamilton island offers a unique experience: a glorious weather, light blue waters, wonderful beaches, amazing coral reefs fascinating flora and fauna, good food and good wines.

Day 4Tongue Bay

You can reach Tongue Bay only on high tide. It is a great opportunity to go to the Hill Inlet observatory, offering great views to Whitehaven beaches.

Day 5 Cateran Bay

Sail towards the north where you Will find Cateran Bay. Surrounded by eucalyptus trees forest and a wide variety of sea life, it is a great chance to explore the protected fishing island.

Day 6Daydream Island

Go on a short sailing towards Daydream Island. You can visit the famous aquarium of about 80 different species. It is also a great chance to go kayaking and water skiing.

Day 7Shute Harbour

Sail back to Shute Harbour where you will land in the morning.
