Cyclades Islands, Greece
Located to the southeastern of Athens, at the heart of Aegean sea, you will find a collection of the biggest archipelagos of Greece. The Cyclades islands are famous to have a traditional architecture and its boundless beaches to enjoy and walk around.
Begin your journey in Cyclades islands from the yachting port of Lavrion. Go in a short sailing towards Kea island. The island is famous for wine, honey and almonds manufacturing. You will also find a great variety of coves to relax.
After touring around Kea, begin the way to Syros. Syros island is an industrial city of around 20.000 people. Ermoupolis is the capital and it is the biggest city in the Cyclades islands. It owns a port like an Amphitheatre to walk around. Visit the city and its incredible mansions.
You will sail towards the well-known Mykonos island in the morning. Even though the island has a dry zone, it is famous for the beaches. Besides, you can enjoy the sunset in the Venice neighborhood if you wish. It becomes an excellent opportunity to have a great nightlife and tour around the bars.
You will sail towards the small island of Paros. The island is made up by three bays, Paroikia is located to the west owning the main port. Then, you will find Naoussa and Marmara towns well-known to have great weather conditions to go windsurfing.
Start sailing towards Serifos island. This island is perfect for those looking for enjoying a peaceful environment and few tourists. You will find coasts of around 60 km and beaches to rest. You will also have the opportunity to tour around Taxarcas monastery located to the north.
Reaching the end of the tour through Cyclades islands sail towards Kythnos. This is an almost virgin island, its main ports are Mericha and Loutra. You can walk around the incredible beaches and also practice water activities such as dive and snorkel.
By the end of your journey, begin sailing back to Lavrion where you will land by the morning.
